Damon Perry

I have been a student of Mr. Alton for two years. While under his tutelage I have learned how to improve my rhythm and timing, and my skills in other areas as well.  He gives information, instructions and details that I have yet to learn from other instructors in my nine years of playing the piano. My understanding of music has improved. I am developing the skill to play music by ear. He is helping me to improve on scales which are a major factor in music. He taught a phenomenal method that requires me to look at what I am playing in steps before I begin with any new piece. These steps will help me understand music now and in the future. He sees my potential to be a great pianist and encourages me to be great.
